Unlike traditional laser systems that generate heat, the UV laser works with a much shorter wavelength (355 nm), which allows it to mark materials through a process called “cold marking.” This means there is little to no heat effect during marking, which is important when working with soft plastics or fragile surfaces like glass.

The mini UV model is designed for environments where space is limited or where only a small number of parts need to be marked at a time. How It Works

This machine uses a UV laser beam that is focused onto the surface of the object. The light energy breaks down chemical bonds on the surface, changing the material's appearance without burning or melting it. The result is a high-contrast, precise mark that doesn't rub off or fade over time. No ink or labels are used, so there’s no waste or ongoing consumable costs.

Most mini UV laser machines come with easy-to-use design software that allows you to create or import your marking content (logos, numbers, barcodes, etc.). The machine is usually controlled from a computer and can be adjusted to mark on flat or slightly curved surfaces.
